Microdermabrasion

Peels and Facials

A Chemical peel is performed to help a person achieve smoother, more beautiful skin. Chemical facial peels offer nearly immediate results and can reduce or eliminate the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, and uneven pigmentation. Chemical peels are acidic, which works to loosen and eradicate dead skin cells allowing newer and healthier skin to surface. There is a wide range of chemical peels and they peel to different depths. Lighter peels exfoliate only the outermost layer of skin, called the epidermis. The chemical peels we offer in our day spa are “very superficial” or “superficial” peels, affecting only the skin’s epidermis. Your skin will look smoother, softer and brighter. Light chemical peels can provide dramatic results, especially on middle-aged to older clients.

A Facial cleans, exfoliates (mechanical or chemical) and nourishes the skin to promote clear, well-hydrated skin. A “deep-cleansing facial” exfoliates and deep cleans the skin and “deep-pore cleansing” facial will include an extraction of blackheads or whiteheads. After your skin is cleaned with a product chosen for your skin type, the esthetician will cover your eyes and look at your skin through a brightly lit magnifying lamp which reveals various skin conditions. This is followed by exfoliation and extraction, moisture and sun-screen application. Your skin will look and feel moisturized, softer and smoother. You will feel relaxed and refreshed.
